ImSimQA’s goal is to provide medical physicists with greater freedom and time savings, in the range of scenarios that can be tested. The use of virtual software phantoms and the creation of artificial DICOM images save time and money, and reduce the need to use complex phantoms and an imaging scanner. The software includes an image fusion test protocol with a clear procedure for fusion QA.

Modus has recently partnered with UK-based ImSimQA developer, Oncology Systems Limited (OSL), to deliver their innovative new image fusion QA software in North America. ImSimQA is complementary to the existing line of high quality advanced radiotherapy QA tools from Modus because it significantly expands the range of QA scenarios without having to buy a new phantom for every new configuration tested.
